What you'll actually do

• Lead the Crew: You’ll manage the CS department, making sure they’re motivated, challenged, and growing. You’re the one they go to for advice and the one who keeps the team spirit high.

• Get your hands dirty: You’re an expert in the CS game. Whether it’s a tricky retention call, a service onboarding, or a billing issue - you’re not afraid to jump in and show how it’s done.

• Operationalize the AI-First Model: You won’t just “use” tools; you’ll help us implement AI-assisted workflows within your team. You provide the feedback loop to make sure our AI-roadmap actually works in the real world, so we work more efficiently without losing the human touch.

• Own the Numbers: You keep an eye on Churn, active customer base, and CSAT. You also make sure the workload is balanced so nobody burns out while we scale.As a Customer Success Manager (m/f/d), you are the second personal Trustlocal contact for companies.

• You will contact customers acquired by the sales team and guide them through the onboarding process. You will explain

What we're are looking for

• Real Leadership: You’ve led teams before and know how to give feedback that actually sticks.

• CS Pros only: You’ve done it all—onboarding, support, upselling, and saving customers. You know HubSpot inside out.

• Problem Solver: If you see a process that’s broken (like our current capacity planning), you don’t wait for permission - you propose a fix.

• AI-Native Mindset: You don’t need to be an engineer, but you are “AI-first” in how you think. You’ve ideally used or implemented tools like Gong, AI-Gems, or automated CRM workflows to create leverage for yourself or the team.

• Language: Your German is at a native level (C2), and you’re comfortable communicating in English.
