About Trustoo

In 2019, we launched Trustoo in the Netherlands to simplify the search for local professionals like painters or accountants. After successful expansions to Belgium and Germany in 2022 under the Trustlocal brand, and since 2024 live in Spain. Trustoo helps visitors find the best local businesses, much like Booking.com or Tripadvisor, but for local services. Our team of over 80 passionate colleagues ensures a dynamic work environment, sportive outings, research trips,  and Friday afternoon drinks.

The position

As our Account Manager in Spain, you'll play a key role in establishing Trustoo’s presence in the country further. Working closely with the Marketplace Manager and the marketing team, you’ll generate and follow up on leads. We are still experimenting a lot with the proposition and categories, hence no day is the same. Since we’re new in Spain, a significant part of your role will involve cold outreach. You’ll also manage warm leads from various campaigns, guiding prospects through the customer journey. Your goal is to understand client needs and advise them on boosting their online presence to grow their business. Additionally, we appreciate the input of every team member. That's why we expect you to actively be involved in improving and developing sales methods that work best for the Spanish market.

What your day looks like

Your day starts with a quick meeting with the commercial team. You’ll discuss daily goals, scheduled calls, and new marketing initiatives that we can capitalize on. You’ll then prioritize your own tasks, focusing on the hottest leads. Whether you're talking to an accountant, marketer, or painter, each interaction will be unique, keeping your workday different. Every sale is celebrated with your own sales tune. Need to wind down after? Take walk outside with the team, chill on the the balcony, take a seat in the massage chair or work on your ping pong skills. A healthy lunch is part of the daily routine. On Fridays, we wind down the week with a few drinks together.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor level 

  • Commercial work experience within the Spanish market

  • Available 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

  • Affinity with sales and opening new markets

  • Fluent in professional-level Spanish and fluent in English or Dutch

  • It is a plus if you are fluent in Catalan, as we’re focused on local businesses. 

  • Strong Communicator and self-starter; you love to explore new business opportunities

  • Interest in working in a dynamic and growing organization
