Growth Specialist
Are you curious about what truly drives platform growth and product adoption? Do you enjoy analyzing data, testing ideas, and translating insights into tangible results? This role might be for you.
At Trustoo, we make it easy to find the best local professionals - from painters to accountants. Think Booking.com or Tripadvisor, but for local services. Founded in 2019, we now help over 200,000 local service providers across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Spain grow their business online. With a team of 80+ ambitious colleagues, we’re scaling fast - and we’re looking for a Growth Specialist to help shape what comes next.
Why this role matters
Pieter (Co-founder):
“Our growth has always come from curiosity, experimentation, and learning fast. The Growth team plays a key role in how we scale: testing ideas, optimizing adoption, and finding smarter ways to monetize our platform. The Growth Specialist helps turn those ideas into reality.”
About the role
As a Growth Specialist, you’ll be part of our cross-functional Growth team, working closely with your team and collaborating with product, marketing, and sales. You’ll identify growth opportunities, run experiments, and analyze their impact on user activation, conversion, and retention.
You’ll be responsible for driving projects from start to end. For this, you’ll analyse data to uncover insights and leverage LLMs to speed up your workflow, from research to reporting. Your work will help drive product adoption, enhance our freemium and SaaS models, and ensure we capture the full value of the Trustoo platform.
What you’ll do
Identify and prioritize opportunities across teams from onboarding to retention
Conduct research on user needs and competitors in other geographies
Design and run experiments to validate ideas and measure impact.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and commercial teams on campaigns, flows, and offers.
Analyze funnel and usage data to guide decision-making
Support projects focused on various growth levers, such as SaaS adoption, freemium upgrades, and platform monetization.
Share learnings and help scale successful initiatives across markets.
A day in the life
You start the day with a stand-up to align on priorities and review running experiments. Then you dive into project management, checking progress, syncing with marketing and design, and analyzing funnel data.
In the afternoon, you join a brainstorm for a new growth initiative and test out a fresh outreach method with the commercial team. Later, you review the next step in your own key initiative on the adoption of the SaaS part of the business and wrap up by summarizing key learnings and next steps.
